OzCon International is returning in 2025 with even more wonder, scholarship, and community. THE Ultimate OZ Universe is honored to be included as a special guest! Taking place in Burbank, California, this iconic convention is a dream destination for fans, collectors, creators, and scholars of all things Oz from Baum’s original books to today’s modern adaptations.
Set for June 20-22, 2025, OzCon will celebrate the 125th anniversary of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and explore the theme “It’s a Whiz of a Wiz” diving into Ozian royalty, fantastical journeys, and the whimsical wisdom of the Land of Oz. Whether you’re a longtime aficionado or a newcomer enchanted by Emerald City, this is a rare opportunity to experience Oz in its most immersive form.
OzCon began in 1964 and is the longest-running Oz-focused convention in the world. What started as a gathering of literature lovers in the Bay Area has grown into a vibrant annual event drawing attendees nationwide. Over the decades, OzCon has hosted legendary guests like Margaret Hamilton and John R. Neill’s family, while showcasing original manuscripts, rare art, and deep-dive panels into Ozian lore.
Ultimate OZ Universe will be there to share our creative projects, connect with fellow fans, and celebrate the next chapter of the Oz legacy. Expect exclusive panels, cosplay, collector showcases, and a community that knows how to honor the magic of Baum’s creation like no other.
